Sights | At the recreation site there is the biggest (trunk circumference 8.5 m at the height of 1.3 m) and oldest tree in Estonia. In 1998 its age was measured to be 680 years, using the increment boring method. |

Driving directions | On Antsla–Kanepi road, 13 km from Antsla, after the Urvaste bus stop, turn left (follow the sign “Tamme-Lauri tamm 500 m”). Follow the signs to the parking area at Tamme-Lauri Oak recreation site. The recreation site is next to the parking area. |
